Wendy Forrester Mediation Center is dedicated to resolving conflicts without confrontation. Unlike traditional divorce proceedings, we bring families together so they can live successful lives apart.

Why Choose Mediation

  • Mediation minimizes the negative effects of divorce on children
  • Families, not courts, retain control of the outcome;
  • Mediation allows parents to focus on the needs of their children and develop a positive parenting plan in the best interests of the family;
  • Mediation is voluntary, confidential and non-confrontational;
  • The time and expense of divorce is reduced;
  • Assets are preserved for the family;
  • Equitable terms are agreed to for child and spousal support, parenting plans and the division of property and debts.

Benefits of Mediation

Mediation acknowledges the individual concerns and values of each family. Each party is provided the opportunity to be heard and understood. As a mediator, I guide you through issues of parenting, support and the division of property and debt. The outcome is a mutually satisfying agreement that takes into account the legal and financial needs of each family member.

Mediation fosters collaboration, cooperation and mutual respect. Mediation lessens the trauma of divorce on children by reducing conflict and providing positive approaches to family communication and collaborative decision making. One of Wendy’s mediation clients commented: “The mediator modeled good communications skills that we will be able to use in the future for the benefit of the whole family.”

Our comprehensive approach satisfies the legal, financial and emotional needs of families undergoing divorce. My office prepares and files court documents, so you don’t go to court.

Mediation is offered in a safe and comfortable environment. Mediations are scheduled according to your schedule, not the court’s. Contact our offices for a complimentary mediation consultation.
